The food was amazing. Taking nothing away from how great the hog roast was, everyone thought the crackling was the best they had ever eaten! The vegetarians loved their food too and everything was very fresh and there was plenty of it. Our caterers were exceptional and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend the Spitting Pig Co if you are looking for great food and great service.

I have to say after using different catering companies over the years, … was head and shoulders above the rest. We run a big corporate lunch each year and they were able to cater for all our needs and they do their own set up and clean up so there’s nothing you have to worry about. Great communication from booking to service, already got them pencilled in for next year!

Hi Kate Thank you for your follow up email. We were absolutely deleted with your service from start to finish. Communication leading up to the day was second to none. Thank you August 5th was a drab wet and somewhat windy day. Michelle and her young helper handled everything professionally and easily despite the weather conditions and the fact we have no electricity or a nearby  water supply. The food was plentiful and laid out beautifully.  Everybody enjoyed themselves and all  very very complimentary about both the food and the ladies. Myself included in that, the mac and cheese was just to die for. It’s a favourite of mine. Delicious! All the food tasted fresh, it was hot, and full of flavour. Hi Kate, I’m sorry it took a while to reply, we went straight on holiday after the party. Michelle and her daughter, who’s name escapes me at the moment, did an absolutely fantastic job.  They both worked exceptionally hard on a very hot day. The food was excellent and everyone was raving about the side dishes and the amount of food there was. I wanted to show Michelle my appreciation but I missed them before they left, please pass on my sincere thanks and apologies for not saying goodbye. I cannot recommend you and your staff highly enough.  The party was a huge success due in no small part to The Spitting Pig company. Many thanks Nigel

Hello Kate, Well, the hog roast was a great success! Michelle & Meg were lovely - professional & personable. They arrived on time, set up their working area efficiently and discretely, served on time and everyone thought they were super. Hi Kate, Yes absolutely it was, which was a direct result of Michelle and her team. The communication throughout was really great, including leading up to the event discussing the menu and numbers, with on the day giving me an ETA. Polite, professional and friendly, I had no worries about the quality or the timing of the food. The ease of having Michelle and her team there was exactly what was promised and needed, I received nothing but good reviews from everyone I spoke to about the food, saying how delicious it was. Thank you so much for helping to make the day special and easy for us organisers. It was well and truly a perfect service and extremely tasty. We managed to hit the target for our chosen charity The Lily Foundation, for which their deadline is tomorrow. So it couldn’t have gone better. Thank you again, Sebastian

Hello, The food was amazing this weekend and the staff were lovely thank you very much. Can honestly say that’s the best hog roast we’ve ever had! Yummy tender pork, crispy crackling, soft and fluffy potatoes covered in a gorgeous garlicky butter, enough salad to feed an army... what more do you need? We absolutely LOVED everything about the food at our engagement party, it was exactly what we thought it would be from booking you after looking at all your pictures!
