Just last weekend, we helped Molly surprise her husband, Ben, with an incredible spread at his 40th birthday party! As a massive golf fan, Molly had arranged for them and 15 guests to spend the day at an American-style golf range.
Unlike the typical golf range, this venue had all the bells and whistles. Themed driving range games, swanky seating areas and high-tech everything, which made for an enjoyable afternoon for the group.
After hours of driving long-distance shots and competing against each other for the best score, the group had worked up a huge appetite, so when they left their booths, they were glad to see Hog Roast Bromyard waiting to greet them with our Southern Slow Roast Menu!
Heavily inspired by Deep Southern cuisine, this menu boasted a large selection of soul food dishes, which the guests were eager to sink their teeth into. Consisting of fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs, Cajun spiced whole roast chickens, a pulled quarter of minted lamb and BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls with mixed fries, Memphis style crunchy coleslaw and chargrilled corn cobettes dripping with melted butter, there was something for everyone on the menu.
Bringing the evening to a brilliant close, the Hog Roast Bromyard team sliced and served the golf-themed birthday cake that Molly had bought for the occasion. The dessert was served with fresh cream and berries along with the guests’ choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
Ben couldn’t have asked for a better start to his 40s, and Molly was so grateful for how effortlessly Hog Roast Bromyard managed this booking, which made the event seamless.
