Lucy and her husband are celebrating together in the New Year as a family since the birth of their baby daughter. To celebrate this milestone, they are hosting a meal at their home and inviting friends and family to enjoy the occasion. To allow everyone to make the most of the day without needing to worry about food, Hog Roast Ballingham has been hired to cater for the meal with one of our delicious buffet menus. After looking through our options, it was decided that a classic hog roast would be ideal with a few additional dishes to ensure that there was plenty to go around.
In preparation for the meal, the Hog Roast Ballingham team will arrive at the venue in the morning to prepare for the 3:00pm serving time. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it is cooked to perfection before being carved by our chef. The sliced meat will be accompanied by a selection of trimmings, including sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving roasted baby potatoes, seasonal vegetables, corn cobettes, and homemade mac and cheese. This will create a delicious and varied lunch for the guests to go around, with more than enough to create a hearty meal for everyone.
