Jason owns a golf club in Herefordshire which includes an extensive outdoor area, as well as a welcoming indoor clubhouse, with two function rooms available for hire. Each year, he hosts an open day at the club to showcase the facilities, attract new members, and show that, despite the name, there is more to it than just golf! This year, Jason has contacted Hog Roast Wolferlow to cater for the occasion, since he has enjoyed our menu at a previous corporate event. Getting a return customer is the highest form of praise for our team and our catering manager Michele was excited to get to work on planning this menu. It was decided that our Gourmet BBQ option would be ideal since it includes the widest variety of dishes and is sure to have something for every guest to enjoy.
On the day of the event, Michele and the Hog Roast Wolferlow team arrived at the golf club in the morning and set up our catering station on the patio. We began by barbequing the main dishes, which included succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, halloumi and vegetable skewers, juicy British beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. Additionally, we served homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, sweet potato fries, corn cobettes, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. Overall, this menu was the perfect option for the event and it was great to see so many customers enjoying our menu.
