Now that spring has finally begun, Phil is back to running his regular Saturday car boot sales on an unused field at his farm in Herefordshire. Phil has been running the seasonal car boot sales for over the last ten years and can be found every Saturday browsing the stalls and chatting with local people. For the first event of the season, he always does something special to attract new people to attend. This year, he hired Hog Roast Bromyard to cater for the occasion with our delicious BBQ menu, which was perfect for welcoming a big turnout and for starting the season in style!
On the day of the car boot sale, the Hog Roast Bromyard team arrived at the venue in the morning and got to work on preparing our dishes. For the main options, we served succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and marinated chicken kebabs. These dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also available. Additionally, we served a selection of tasty sides, including homemade chips, sweet potato fries, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a selection of fresh salad dishes. Overall, this created a delicious menu, with plenty for every guest to enjoy and more than enough to go around. The event was a big success and the Hog Roast Bromyard team enjoyed grabbing a few bargains of our own between serving!
