We have been around going on three decades now and in that time seen a tonne of changes throughout it. We’ve gained valuable experience through that time, too, and bit by bit built out a dining service that we consider to be one of the very best in the catering industry – something we’re not alone in thinking, being the nation’s number one hog roast caterer.

But our three decades of experience pales in comparison to the whopping 240 years of business, celebrated this week by our corporate clients at Deakin and Frances. A name known on high streets all the way through the UK, a top business in jewellery, Deakin and Frances have endured through centuries, and, so, took this past week to celebrate a remarkable 240th year with a catered event from Hog Roast Birmingham.

It was our privilege to be chosen to cater for such a historic occasion. That kind of recognition from a top global brand is invaluable to Hog Roast Birmingham, and something we do not take for granted whatsoever. We can only dream of one day, centuries from now, being around to celebrate our own 240th year.

So, of course, such a landmark event requires a stylish and memorable menu to go with it. Fortunately, over the last 30 years, that is exactly what Hog Roast Birmingham provides!

Head chef Duncan had our signature hog roast prepped nice and early in the day to be ready for a 1pm serving time. An addition of our grilled marinated chicken thighs brought even more flavour to the menu, as did our grilled veg and halloumi skewers as a veggie counter to our meaty mains. All that was needed to top off the menu thereafter was our perfectly roasted baby new potatoes, along with some salad and slaw sides. To close out the dining, we then had dessert options of individual handmade cheesecakes and fresh profiteroles with cream.
