Very recently, we had the wonderful opportunity of catering at an open-air cinema showing the hit movie The Greatest Showman, and it couldn’t have gone better! The client, James, had invited us along to serve our Southern Slow Roast menu, which kept everyone well-fed and happy all evening.
The guests were delighted to be served our iconic selection of delicious American-inspired dishes, which comprised Texan 24-hour beef brisket, Cajun-spiced whole roast chickens, fall-off-the-bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs, and BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls with an array of light and refreshing salad options, ultra-cheesy mac and cheese and chargrilled corn on the cob with melting butter.
All evening, the guests raved about Hog Roast Hampton Bishop’s delicious food, which was cooked to perfection and served with a smile. Our dedicated team of caterers had been working flat-out all afternoon to ensure this spread was nothing short of perfect for the large group, so it was amazing to hear that the guests were happy with the results.
As well as our savoury spread, James had hired popcorn, ice cream and candy floss carts for the occasion, which not only lifted the guests’ spirits, but it tied in perfectly with the film’s carnival theme.
Overall, the evening was a great success, and everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the food. The combination of the smoky, succulent flavour of the grilled meats and the spectacle of the big-screen movie made for a wholly unforgettable event, which people are certain to talk about for many weeks to come.
