This summer, Ellie is hosting a big birthday party to celebrate her daughter turning five. This will be the first year that she can invite nursery friends, so she wanted to do something extra special for the occasion. The party is set to take place on farmland near Ellie’s home in Herefordshire. This will provide plenty of space for the bouncy castle, face painting, balloon animals, and much more! Additionally, Hog Roast Ross-on-Wye has been hired to cater for the occasion with a menu that will be ideal for children and adults to enjoy. Our catering manager Michelle suggested our Gourmet BBQ menu since it tastes delicious in the summer and has the widest variety of dishes to choose from.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Ross-on-Wye team is planning on arriving at the venue in the morning to give ourselves plenty of time to prepare for the midday serving time. We will begin with the main dishes, which are set to include succulent pork sausages, juicy beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls or a gluten-free alternative. Additionally, we will be providing homemade chips, sweet potato fries, corn cobettes, gourmet coleslaw, a green leaf salad, and a tomato and mozzarella salad. Overall, this will create a varied and delicious menu, with plenty of dishes to choose from and more than enough for guests of all ages to enjoy.
